Hurricane Jose is taking aim at southern New England and should arrive on Tuesday.

A tropical storm watch has already been issued for the southeast coast including Cape Cod & the Islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.

one is plenty. funerals, and maybe certain job interviews. what else are they needed for, unless you have a douchey job where you need to dress like that every day?

so that's why that massachusetts car was trying to kill everyone on the highway earlier tonight... he was just in a panic to get home and see his family before they all die?

Suits at funerals is so old school.
Last 2 funerals I went to were expressed to dress as casually as we would any other day and I like that.

The Cheatriots are going to have to deflate some more balls to get down the field in the storm. :d

yeah it depends on the funeral. but there are definitely some where suits are expected.

especially if you're going to be a pallbearer. i don't think i've been to a funeral where a non-suited person was allowed to carry the casket (which kind of makes me want to stop wearing suits, since i keep getting recruited to pallbear).

The granddaughters are out on break all week, and the son has the week off, so we don't have to sit with them from early in the morning like when both their parents are working.

I'll go over in a little while and get them ready to go pick up our dresses from the alteration shop. Hubby has to have his suit altered so we will be leaving it. I think my son might follow us because he wants to have some jeans hemmed.

Our place did fine. There were a few trees down in our neighborhood but they missed everything except an outbuilding. Other areas close to us go it worse. I think being burrowed into thick trees helped to break the wind speed more so than in open places.

Seriously. I was driving in Boston a few weeks ago and was shocked at how terrible all of the drivers were...and I was expecting bad driving!

Some stupid teenagers let their Ball Python get run over in the neighborhood tonight. Then they went to the door where the car went and wanted to be reimbursed $200 for it.
