obviously i haven't seen cocktail. that's one of those where my friends always act like i'm a freak when i mention i haven't seen it, but i just haven't been motivated to go to the trouble of finding it, and then finding two hours to sit and watch it. top gun's another one. i also get some flack over my lack of harry potter knowledge.

 

I'm learning how to paint my own cars, here's my Faygo for monday series. needs some placement work but looks good for half hour work.

To be fair: in your case you got annoyed by a poster who seemed to be annoying, going against you and provoking on purpose.
Never let a troll get to you (when you know its a troll). And yes in this instance its clear that it was done on purpose.

I always pronounced it homo-ner.

The post about the troll reminds me of a guy on Facebook recently.
I am on some swap shop pages there. Some guy was selling Wii games and asking for more than they were worth. He kept posting the same items over and over.
I simply replied that he only needs to type bump in the comments and save the time of reposting the whole thing. And that if it dosnt sell then maybe he is asking too much.
He replied "who are you?" Now my name is right there...its not my real name but he dosnt know that so I'm not sure what he meant.
So I replied "someone that's trying to help you be less annoying "

His reply to that was Fuck You!
I couldn't help but let that one not bother me. He was so pathetic he couldn't think of a witty comment and just went to the most generic standby insult.
I told him he was never gonna sell his shitty and expensive wares with that attitude...haven't seen him since.

 

I've rowed before. I wasn't very successful single skull (on my own) but we did well in a quad or 8.

 

First weekend since like April or May I haven't spent at the beach.

Being simultaneously drunk and hung over might have something to do about it

We usually do pretty well at those things. I just wasn't tall enough. Not that you have to be super tall but that seems to be the common denominator when you look at them men at least lol.

I rowed for school we won some events and I won a race on my own once I think it was 800m or 1000m race. I wasn't too bad it the double skull if I had one specific girl name Sonya. We won a few races together. We didn't have good technique we just got out there and went for it.

You gotta laugh at folks on the rowing machines at the gym. The slower you go, the faster you go.. Or, the more distance you make because when you rush up the slide, what that does is put backward momentum on the boat, so imagine, you pushing out with your legs and boats moving forward then you rush the slide, this causes opposite momentum. The machines simulate this.

Also you can't just push off with your legs and go nuts or else you dip the front of the boat in the water creating drag. It's a very very technical sport, not where easy as what it looks. Anyway I had bad technique lol.

I'm not sure if she still rows, but for the last two onlympics a girl on the Australian team I'm trying to remember her name... Sarah? She was in the olympics and I got to row with her.

I just do a non meat day and that day is usually chicken or fish. :d
