I can't do any of the stuff I need to do this morning.

The utility workers, that have been out marking water, phone, and gas lines hit the water main this morning.

I've been without water for two hours.

 

yup, just remember, add ~10 degrees to what you get in LA and you'll feel my pain

 

The water came back on after two hours but it's discolored and the pressure is low.

Six to eight weeks of this crazy stuff with the utilities.

 

Hubby's check is late. It's not deposited yet. It's supposed to be today.

We have $11.40 in the bank.

pfff. I feel both your pain
I get paid every two weeks, it goes in on Friday and by Saturday I'm lucky if have $10 left to carry me for two weeks.
This last pay I laid the guilt trip on my daughters and ended up with about $20 left. Still had to borrow $$$ to get a haircut.
the pay period before that I got paid on Friday and had $3.00 by Sunday.
75% gets deposited into our "household" account and the remainder into my personal, and it ain't much, which is most often used for groceries and maybe some tequila for me.
Friday took $160 bucks out, went shopping and came home with $4.00, then I played the guilt card, Muhahaha!
Haven't bought any herb in a couple/few months, simply can not afford it, plus the county we live now they only honor medical recs, and mine expired in June and haven't had the extra $40 to renew, so......

So thank Gawd we have a president that is going to make everything right for us middle class shleps..


But thus far all of the kids are doing good and two of them have earned degrees, so fuck any and all of you who consider me a loser.
our success is measured by our children's lives...IMHO.

Maybe you should store some clean water considering you never know when it's gonna be shut off.
