What's Happening?

My cat cried to come In the house. I open up the door and she walks in the house with a mole in her mouth. Drops it in the middle of the floor and lays down next to it. I throw it away then the cat gets up and searches the floor for it.

 

It rained at work today. I guarantee it completely bypassed my house. I live in a desert apparantly.

 

They keep predicting rain here as well but have not seen any. Yesterday afternoon we had a lot of thunder but no rain.

 

I've had cats bring in live, huge lizards; and live mice. My sister in law's cat brought in a live snake once.

We have had a couple of good rains lately on our desert.

 

It rained buckets a little while ago and then quit... Weather guys didn't even see it coming. Of course after the fact they were all like "Oh! We knew that was gonna happen..."

Spooky caught a mouse last night... He left the head at the foot of my bed.

 

Watching the baseball game trying to decide if I should walk to the store to get some drinks.

 

IT IS RAINING!! My boyfriend and i actually ran outside and did a silly rain dance when we heard thunder.

 

Done eating... now to find the energy to take a shower.

 

I found the raccoon's potholder in the front yard.


Two officers shot in Dallas this evening.

 

It did not rain here yet, but I think the carps are ok, as the puddle seemed to fill a bit to get it to the next river before the big river...I noticed today....It did rain a little last night or the night before, so maybe that is when it filled in a bit....I see little frogs jumping up on my window screen here now, as my window is open with a floor fan blowing outwards, so little gnats do not get in through the screen holes and its keeping the pugs cool, too......Do the frogs want to get in here for water or don't they know what they are doing?

 

The frogs are after bugs...

 

That's not going to help the situation...

 

Of course....duh...the moths and bugs are at the screen, as they are the ones attracted to the light inside....so they beat on the screens....and the frogs jump up to catch them....and wind up on the screen for awhile themselves...makes sense....frogs are very cute......

 

It's worse than first thought. I made a news thread.

 

I have not watched the news tonight yet, but saw the footage earlier where the heavy black man on the ground was being shot in the chest dead a few times by the cop. I was disgusted and sad....so you think this is a retaliatory response now for both men shot in 24 hours by cops?

 

No one is sure. The snipers are still at large.

 

I am going to say yes it is.

 

We got that one too. I was watching the weatherman at the time and he kept pointing east of us and saying how it was headed there. Third time is the charm. He has been saying three days in a row that we were going to get hit with heavy storms. Finally we got the storm.
