I understand; I was kind of hoping to set my day up that way with a positive affirmation!

    Well, dang y'all!!!

From last night to today one of my tomato plants has wilted from the bottom to the top...with the top part (during this desert dry afternoon) practically wilting to dust. It has a small green tomato on it! (one of the 2 (TWO!) I now have) :-O

I wonder if I shouldn't yank it up. I do NOT see it coming back from this. If you could see the top part, you'd know this, too. :-( I googled it and according to the kind of wilt it is, yanking it up is best, but I have no earthly idea what kind I have. DAGNABBIT! I guess I'm going to have to put on my big-big-yank-up-tomato-plant panties.

The other 2 surviving plants are doing fine. Well, they are living. lol

The largest one that has (now) plenty of blooms has set NO fruit yet. smh

damn snake skin and dying tomato plant

    good grief

That skin looks like a nice, long King Snake.

When I read that just now, I literally let out a sigh of relief. lol That would truly be great since I know he'd keep the poisonous ones away. This is the 3rd year I've seen a skin right there in that exact place. Its on ground just short of and outside the back fence. If you ever walk from the backyard to the front you pass by this area.

Maybe if I chopped it up and put it on those dang tomato plants it'd help.

lol I'm not gonna do that.

We're having a rough time with melons around here.

    My zinnias wouldn't even grow.

I've never seen the like of this. lol good grief, I grown better tomatoes and peppers in the shade in the other part of the yard, where its terribly aggravating to get water to.

I've got these planted not very far from the tall stump Princess is posing in, Up to the left, in good sun. There is good soil, combined with compost easy to water at night..

    idk

I know what you mean! We've had "freewill" tomatoes, peppers, and even melons come up and do better than this year's crap.

It’s good to keep an air horn around since they have a tendency to nibble in the vegetable garden

I was getting ready to go to bed when hubby saw a flash light pass his window.

We ended up doing a neighborhood patrol.

When I got back to the house a neighbor messaged me on facebook, because I'm the head of our Neighborhood Watch.

She told me that a man who is the subject of a manhunt has been frequenting our neighborhood.

I had to call and leave messages for the detective on the case.

    I'm not sleepy now.

    Hey, Everybody :)

Today, has really screwed up energy for me.

I'v heard nothing to acknowledge that the detective rec'd the info I gave him. I napped because I got to bed really late, like 5 am. Naps always make me feel blech.

Anyway, "Hey", and what's going on with y'all?

I think I have cabin fever.

I feel very isolated from everyone today too.

    This is sucking.
