What's Happening?

Husband and I were going to spend the day together, but it looks like the wind is picking up, so I told him to go kite surfing if it is going to be epic.

I think that is what he is going to do. So I will have the apartment to myself today.

 

Everybody needs some alone time. I even had about 3 hours alone while on vacation.

 

Oh yeah, I don't mind. Our apartment is small and I enjoy having it to myself whenever I can.

Where did you go on vacation?

 

I went to Ft. Walton Beach/Okaloosa Island, Florida with my son and his family.

 

belly ache, argggg had a few tums started to feel better for a while then got worse again, this heat aint helping....actually i guess its possibly the cause. on top of that i can feel the kidney stones creeping in, i know the heat is the main reason for that. i got me some potassium citrate, some more tums and some water. lets see how we feel in a half hour from now.

 

Oh wow, that sounds lovely. I have always wanted to go to Florida.

Weather says "occasional thunderstorms should end at 4:35 PM"

We got the thunder storms but hardly any rain. You can still see dry spots on the road. So much for our rain event.

 

my friend is big into weather, he is actually friends with a few meteorologists. there are always stories about how some weather reporters just look at what others are saying and repeat it. and there have been quite a few reports of weatherman just completely making up shit to fill the time. (well i said it was a 25% chance of rain so the next 3 times i say that i will be right.)

 

feeling better at the moment, just hope it stays that way.

 

I don't have TV so I don't watch "weathermen"... I check the weather on the "Weather Underground" web site.... Behind the scenes there's somebody updating that site though.

 

i prefer accuweather and coincidentally my friend is friends with one of the meteorologists there. of course any of them could be wrong if a butterfly flaps its wings in china.

 

Accuweather doesn't have any weather stations out in the boonies... Just larger cities around the area.


Like, I give a fuck what the weather is in Columbus or Dayton.

 

Weatherunderground is local, homeowner, amateur meteorologists isn't it?

Not sure it matters what weather you watch right now as it seems pretty hit and miss lately.

Yeah, we've got a couple of really close weatherunderground locations to choose from out here.

 

It does have to be verified equipment and online 24/7 so they usually aren't homeowner.backyard setups. A lot of them are county utility garages and such.
