What's Happening?

I'm slowly, taking care of the carpet, trying to eradicate fleas. My poor baby Sassy collects them like a magnet even thought she's had Advantage and Capstar in the last two weeks.

 

I'm deciding whether or not to go cycling. I plan to do a long hike tomorrow so I'm thinking about taking it easy today. I just can't stand to be doing inside stuff on my days off, when the weather isn't bad.

 

I'm glad! It's too hot around here to do anything outside that doesn't involve water.

 

My world is frustrating. I'm torn between moving out of my apartment in Portland and moving 4 hours away to be with family, or staying here.

 

"Too" is the key word. It was 92 yesteday, and 90 right now. It's not great weather, but not too bad.
I don't think the humidity is as bad here as it is where you live.

 

Does your family need you? Are they asking for you?

The amount today's temp is lower than yesterday's has been added to the humidity... or someshyt. There's no air moving either. Even the birds are hiding somewhere today.

 

Box fans and no clothes.

 

I need a desk chair that doesn't have one missing wheel. :bomb:

Tempting but hubby says he has the wheel and that the screw just broke from last time he repaired it. It's been broken this time for about 3 or 4 months.

If he doesn't fix it again, I'll try that.

 

Weather site says we are under an allergy alert... The cause is listed as "grass".


Seeing as much of my grass turned to dust 2 weeks ago I guess I can see this....

 

A spider just crawled across my phone screen as I was reading this page. It's gone now but I didn't see where it went.

I went to the dentist today for a "teeny little cavity" to be filled.

I now have a temporary filling since it was only "teeny" on the surface and went "all the way to the pulp".

I'll have to get a root canal, scheduled for Sept 1st. I said OH GOOD GRIEF! Will it have to be capped/crowned too? He laughed and said "probably not".

I'll count on having to get a crown.

I said (with a numb mouth) WTH! I brush my teeth good...I come up here every dang 6 months. What Gives?!?

The poor dentist (yeah, I was tore up so I will say poor but not meaning materially) said almost all the bacteria or germs that cause cavities are in your teeth or mouth by age 3.

HUH? While your permanent teeth are still down inside your gums??? This makes me shake my dang head!

Teeth problems run in my mother's family.
