Hope Banging Bertha is still hot when she arrives, Mel!
Not sure what this means and what strippers who come to your house allow but just practice the common safety rules, alright?

ey ey dis some serious random though here , lets be serious:

every day is a blessed/perfect/progressing day in your life,
aimed to get you closer and closer to the everlasting, ever- peaceful ever-loving "higher(or inner)-self" ,
the one who decides whether your day is good or bad is not your friend, brother or dad, it is YOU,
living life beyond the "veil of duality" (= as your "higher self") makes such a big difference, nothing and nobody can get you out of balance , meaning nobody/nothing can make you angry, sad, depressed etc,
you just see and feel love everywhere,
    you become a light-being instead of a physical-being,
people will feel your emanating light, love you back and like to talk to you wherever you go,
you see the hidden, positive meanings behind "negative" events and never complain,
get back to your higher-self people.

We went to watch the police officer's funeral procession. We were there for an hour and a half.

Many groups of police cars came through before the actual procession. Some of the ones I saw were Border Patrol, Boston, and City Of New York.

The actual funeral procession that followed the hearse was a steady stream of officers - Eighteen (18) minutes long.

The route was 15 miles long with people standing on the side of the road for the whole way.

I took a blue bandanna and waved at every police motorcycle, and every marked car, that I saw. Many of them waved back.

It was clear that so many of them had been crying.

I watched the funeral on livestream when I got home. It was very moving to see all those officers, his wife, son, and the brand new baby. Both of the deputies who were wounded with him attended, also - even the one who had been in intensive care and who required surgery from being shot in the abdomen.

Thousands gather for memorial service honoring fallen Officer Chase Maddox

I called a friend of one of my neighbors to come pick up this old washer and he told me that he'd get by here today.

I hope he does because it's out of my house now and sitting on the front porch.

I have never seen a guy as strong as the one that just left with the washer.

He put one hand under the machine, and one arm around it, and lifted the damn thing off the ground into the back of his truck.

Had fun using a line I picked up somewhere. One of the kids--"you're always there when we need----you always"---on and on)-- ME- (to kid #1 & the others) "that's enough talking about me--let's talk about you---what do YOU think of me"? Guess it's not that funny, but seemed to fit.

My kids learned when they were very little, that dad does NOT like to be cold. That's when they learned that throwing a quart of ice water over the top of the shower door when dad was showering was great fun when dad squealed like a stuck pig!!

( By the way--I took it in good spirits-let the clowns have their fun)

News is on. They showed the road I take to work LIVE, big snowstorm. So I look out the window and it's completely dry outside.

Takes me 20 minutes to get to work with no traffic.

    I would guess it's 13 miles away.

My daughter has a fractured ankle.

She didn't think it was broken. She thought it was a bad strain but the x-ray says it's broken.

She tore tendons or ligaments in it a year ago and I remember her telling me that the doc said to follow up if it didn't get better because she might need surgery to re-attach them.

    She didn't go back.

It bothered her some yesterday and this morning she woke up in a lot of pain with a bruised discoloration in her foot.

Anyway, she said she doesn't need surgery for the fracture.

I've been outside for a couple of hours.

It's Spring here, already. Things are budding with new growth. That's not to say some cold won't come along but it's an early Spring. I noticed it had changed two weeks ago.

i don't think its THAT warm here, but feels like spring for sure. the light vest not the heavy coat with the hood.
glad not to need the leather and sheepie under it any more either.
    until the next unexpected storm.
this early, i'd really be surprised if we didn't get one between now and summer.
but right now, its traveling weather.
