But over the course of a night, that's pretty much what I'm gaining. Like. I weigh myself bow, after drinking lol.

I might cut down on the alcohol then. I know what will happen as always I'll be really conscious and then in a few days I'll feel good and all that good festivals and beer and what not will go away and I'll see those minus pounds I was expecting. Always happens lol.

I'm the opposite. I've been a good girl since the end of January. I've even started juicing kale, spinach, parsley and cilantro and drinking 64 ounces of it twice a week.

I miss beer so bad it hurts right now.

I'm pretty annoyed now. But eh, I know what I'm like, and when I wanna lose 5kg around the waist, that's what I go and do.

I time my beer consumption without making an effort to it these days. That way I can (over)indulge the times i want to without any concern... well, just where it comes to a beer belly then.

I had spinach this week too. With cooked potatoes. I'm not eager to try it raw or juiced! Same with kale. I love kale and spinach, but cooked and with substance at dinner.

I havent drank in a couple of months either. I dont really miss it. But I always slow down in the winter time, I dont like drinking indoors. Once it feels comfortable to sit outside I'll probably be sipping a beer on my patio every night

Carbonara is one of the simplest and most delicious dishes out there.

Never had it with spinach though. Do you mean spinach pasta or there is spinach is mixed in with it? Anyway, I'm not eating pasta for the time being, so...

Reminds me of how much I love pasta primavera. Such a simple but amazing dish, perfect for spring.

I think primavera actually translates to spring.

I was thinking that as I typed my post, but was too lazy to verify. Thanks ;).

You're not...wrong. But I don't think you're right, either. I agree that pasta is pretty bland. But you could say the same about bread, too. Or rice. Most starches, really. I don't eat much starch, mostly for that reason. But occasionally, if done right, these foods can be phenomenal. I mean, quality ravioli and gnocchi are like...a borderline sexual experience.

Only pasta I like is the C shapes in tomato soup or a pasta bake with mince and all the rest.

Parents used to make us eat pasta like all the time because when they moved country had some good authentic Italian friends who gave us the fresh bread and sauce.

You pasta, sauce and sprinkled cheese 4 to 5 nights a week you'll have my opinion on pasta. :p

I can actually relate to this: my mom used to make huge batches of plain pasta and then that was all we had for dinner for the week (because we had no money and it was cheap). Pasta, often with no sauce or anything else. I used to hate it for this reason. And then, eventually, I started to eat it at restaurants or with Italian friends once in a while, and now I like it again.
