What's Happening?

You need a cold front, too.

 

We just ordered a different brand of flea treatment for the cats. Advantage II has not been working well.

Hubby bought one collar while I was gone and it's working great on Bane. He is indoor outdoor.

I don't think many of the cats will wear collars so we're getting drops for them.

It's BioSpot, ordered from Amazon.

It costs half as much to treat all these cats vs Advantage.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Day starting slow...

 

I'm going to make myself go out to the drugstore with hubby.

I feel like a sloth.

 

I can't get a flea collar on even one of these three cats! They turn into insane beasts when I simply put the open collar around their necks. I tried to have one loose, slip it over the neck and tighten in up...well that was the plan.

You would have thought I had a Ring Of Fire I was going to put over their heads. good grief

I've been vacuuming (not a lot though) and doing the daily flea grooming on inside BB and Brownie. I've put drops a couple of times on Princess - TO NO AVAIL, but she is outside. There are slightly less than a total invasion here now.

I'll be very interested to hear how these next treatments do on your babies.

 

Well, the BioSpot collar on Bane is working great! He did the slip it over his head routine.

He also bought some of the Vet's Best spray for carpets, upholstery, etc. it works well tool

best part so far is his show at the roxy for the last 10 minutes he brings john ritter to the stage and they do some improv.

Two mother raccoon just brought two young raccoon up onto the back porch. They look to be maybe 4 months old. They aren't tiny but they are cute!

I'm slowly working on clearing some clutter in my house. I'm enjoying it even though Fibromyalgia and/or Arthritis started flaring pretty bad last night. It's unusual for my hands to bother me like this. I'm sure the gentle movements and finding my hands in warm, soapy water often is helping.

 

I'm listening to movie soundtracks. I've already listened to some of LOTR, all of Braveheart, and now I'm listening to Pirates Of The Caribbean.

 

It's fucking hot and my roommate stole my fan and took it to his friend's house.

Yet in lighter news, I quit my job today and I'm gonna start my new one pretty soon.

 

Didn't get nearly as much as I wanted to get done.
The bank and electric company is open on Saturday iisnt it?

 

It is RAINING!!!

I hear thunder!

Princess has herself on the porch!

I'm not burning up!

I can't expect to hang out clothes and think they'll dry this aft. lol I can handle it.
