i think everyone's of mixed race technically though. in the parlance of the 21st century, if you know that you have any black ancestor at any point in your genealogy, you're considered black.

although those "...roon" titles are interesting anyway, i've never heard of all that.

 

I honestly thought everyone was familiar with those phrases to describe the various shades of black, but yeah throughout the 20th century
if you had so much as a single drop of black blood in you, you were considered black.
