What's Happening?

it varies depending on what else is going on in my life at the time. in the best of times, i just move on and don't think about it and all is well. in the worst of times, i drink excessively and thoroughly self destruct. in average times, i do something in between.

 

can always sleep too..

 

Usually I Just Sit On The Back Veranda With A Glass Of Wine And Feed The Wild Birds.......I Used To

Get Wound Up "Tighter Than A Drum".......But In Recent Years I Won't Go So Far As To Say I "Don't Care".....

I Guess It's Just That Iv'e Changed My Approach To Tension.......

blast music. I'd like to defend that metal actually relaxes me, but I prefer the lighter lyrical variety. Stuff I don't have to take too seriously or something I can relate to (comfort music)

Oopsies I think I just made a enemy on the race sim. I should have won a race, I had it all and I fucked it up and had to fall back with a pit lane black flag and then I was just trying too hard to get to the lead and I wasn't happy with 5th and I got a good run off corner and I tagged this dude and I kept my foot in it the whole way and ran straight through him until he ended up in the fence. and then I radio through I was sorry, and then admitted I just run through him. I'm not sure what he thought of that but he never spoke to me and then later I message him PM and said I'm sorry you spin, I admit, I never took my foot off. Basically saying yeh I fucked up and it was all my fault. But he never responded and left.

I feel kinda bad now I watched replay and yeah I flat out dumped him, but he was in my way and I am not usually like that lol. Ah well, we all gotta have an enemy on the race track to trade paint with.

 

I just got word from my daughter that I'm going to the beach June 23 - June 29!

My baby and her wife are the sweetest!

 

I got the details on vacation.

We're going to be at the beach at the same time as my son's family and only 3 miles from them. My son's family is going for the softball world series.

 

I can't believe my daughter booked a condo with such bad reviews. I guess she's just inexperienced.

She did cancel that reservation.

I'm not sure where we're staying but that first place was bad.

 

It might be right, bad reviews are only written by salty people with a bad experience so they're only a very small percentage. Our hotel room on the weekend was TINY but cosy. it had a 8.2 rating but I dunno how, no beers in the fridge, no coffee no tea.. No wine and no beer! But it's okay cause I packed myself a 6 pack for the road. but I dunno how it got 8.2 it wasn't bad just nothing flash I've been in less rated stuff that's been magnificent.

Oh and don't be fooled by the king beds, hotels just push two bed together which acts as a boundary when you're trying to hug.

Speaking of which, earlier I was comfy in bed I had my arm wrapped around my girl and I fell asleep and it wasn't even her, it was a pillow and she wasn't in the room so I was talking to nobody and hugging nobody.

 

That first place had tons of reviews talking about bugs and crappy staff.

 

Anyway, my daughter has to get back the $1,200 refund that she has tied up in the first condo before we can book another.

 

Suppose it really depends what you're looking for in the place, most the time for us it's just a place to crash out and sleep but few times you want something nicer to relax in if you've got the time. I also like a bath in the shower rooms. And I microwave too cause fuck, I hate coming to room with takeaway and you can't reheat it.

 

Now it's a matter of one bedroom, one bathroom, and a murphy bed (in wall) close to the beach; or two bedrooms and two baths plus a bit of a walk to the beach.

Anything but the bed bugs!

 

Go for the walk. exercise on vacation is always rewarding.

 

I'll go for whatever they go for but I've been having alot of trouble with my legs since October. I'm dieting and losing already. Maybe it will help.

 

We usually spring for something a couple of blocks away from the beach so we can get more space for our money. I enjoy the walk and I like the privacy that you dont always get being beachfront

 

I love our Murphy bed.
My MIL gets to sleep on it when she stays over night.
Then when she leaves, it gets put back in the wall and the room goes back to being spacious for the girls and their boney time.
