What's Happening?

I've been working on beading my mala. It's going to be huge and wonderful. One Hundred Eight 12mm beads plus spacers = It's going to be big enough to last my hands into old age!

 

Lightning just struck the closest it ever has to me. I didn't see it touch down but I think it hit across the street.

 

Across the street is not very close...

 

Never said it was

 

My cousin has been struck by lightning twice. I don't ever want to be closer than across the street from a lightning strike!

 

Me either. Unless it kills me instantly.

 

Waiting for Cayden to wake up, he is still asleep upstairs...

This morning at 7:30 I went to the hospital to get a Holter Monitor (cardio) that I have to wear for 24 hours. Oh joy! Apparently my heart rate is too fast.

 

I know you're enjoying the quiet!

Maybe the monitor will show that the high rate was just temporary.

 

My dishwasher is non-functioning but I use it as a dish drainer/drying rack. This morning, I'm cleaning it out with bleach. Ugh...the strong smell!

 

One of my cats ate a bird feather I brought inside.

I hope it doesn't make them throw up. Cleaning puke is not at the top of my list.

 

I feel like I should unpack and do some laundry, but I have this fever that just won't go away (39 C).

 

My mom called to tell me she threw away an important paper that my uncle gave her. Not sure of the degree of importance. She hung up in a hurry.

 

That translates to over 102F. You're taking fever reducer; right?

How long have you had this fever?

 

That's kind of bizarre...
