yeeeahh i know my sharks :p
when i was a kid, i either had fantasy mythology books, dinosaurs or sharks. thats kinda like all i read.
you could pull up a random ass shark and I would not know it, but as for the usual suspects :D that's what the books were lol.
oh and ufos too, i had lots of ufo books. you know the biggest fear i ever had as a child was being abducted by aliens lol. too many scary movies with my dad. on fire cracker night i would be happy because i thought they would all be scared from the sky explosions lol.

I'm intrigued about UFOs. "The Day The Earth Stood Still" scenario keeps running through my mind.

Yes, I definitely liked War of The Worlds. I like how that was played on the radio when it was first released, and some people didn't hear the original announcement that it was just a fiction story. I will have to check out Village of the Damned, never seen it before. I didn't know it had something to do with aliens.

I remember my grandmother telling me about how when that first aired people thought it was actually happening. (The Orson Wells radio broadcast) Made sense when I was a kid, now that I'm older I think 'my grandmother was kinda dumb'.

You can't grieve all at once. It would be too much for you to handle. Don't worry about it seeping out now and again. That's the way it works.

    That sucks!

Last year there was a sunflower that came up randomly in our neighborhood. Everyone enjoyed seeing it until some ass decided to cut it for themselves. We were all so pissed.

Just say you found a feral cat when you were cleaning the stuff out...Then start acting like you have rabies...it'll be fun.

Got up this morning and got myself a stark reminder of what almost 50 years of roofing has done to my back. Couldn't even stand up straight, but it's loosening up some now. Maybe I should seriously think about getting into a yoga class, if that would help. AS those of you with back trouble know--the usual amount of pain is minor and acceptable. Usually fades into the background as you do what you do throughout the day, but it's a real sucker when it flares up!

    Mornings can be pure hell.

Try setting an alarm to take some pain meds a couple of hours before you need to be up. I can walk a little better if I take some tylenol and go back to sleep for about two hours before I really need to be up and moving.

After I'm up a while, I eat something and take the ibuprofen with that.

That's what I'm going to do now. I went to bed at 4:00 and got up at Noon.

    I'm freezing my arse off.

I don't know why they have to keep this place so cold. It's like working in a meat locker. And my desk is right under the AC vent. Wearing my old college hoodie over my blouse. In April. In California.

It's been raining most of the day here and we've had two thunderstorm warnings in the past 30min. Good day to stay the hell inside.
