That’s how my morning started

 

Just got back from seeing my friend who does my hair. I have long hair so kept the length but went with bangs. Love how it turned out, she’s magic!

Ran some errands and going to get a kale smoothie. Hope you guys are enjoying the weekend!

 

This is what I did today. A much needed connection with nature

 

I could so use that scenery and fresh air right now. Let my thoughts wander, stir up more ideas and creativity.

 

I did a little light yard work today. I hate when I overdo and end up in too much pain.

The weather is just so perfect!

 

I went on a long run this morning- 8 miles through woodlands, lakes, farms, and blooming countryside. It cleared my head and I honestly felt quite balanced. One of my favorite things about being outdoors this time of year is the smells--the carpets of pine needles being warmed by the sun, the flowers opening on the trees, the scent of new grass, the salt air blowing from the ocean. Magic.

 

Freeze warning tonight... Figured I better get a photo before it's too late.


Most years the freeze gets the Magnolia buds before they get a chance to open... This is one of the few years that it has bloomed.

 

Whereabouts do you live again, Tyrsons? A frost warning...oof.

Is that a Ford in the back ground?
I like that narrow path I find narrow paths to be romantic. It's like a one way direction and who knows where they lead. It probably leads to your house, but in my mind it could lead to a big cedar full of woodland fairies.

I knew the grill wasn't a ford grill, but the badge looked big enough for the blue oval lol.

Edit: I can see it now it's blurred but I get it. Actually the grill looks like one of the Chrysler gangster cars. I liked them.

 

My Black Irises and Roses have got a gazillion buds. Some have bloomed but there are going to be tons more.

has it actually been warmish there? i'm only a couple hours from you and there's not a bud to be found on any tree around here. pretty sure it's frozen overnight a few times in the last couple weeks.

 

I guess it's time to go over to Hulu so I can veg out and get sleepy. I need to find another show to binge watch on there. I always hate for a series to come to it's end.
