Contemplating going for a walk around the block. Spent the whole day on the sofa feeling like crud and now I feel like moving

 

i just ordered grocery deliveryfor the first time. Its gonna cost over $10 in fees and tip but fuck it, it feels so damn good not to have to go to the grocery store today

 

Thunderstorm split and went around my place...

 

Putting in the backyard window today. Just waiting on the brother-in-law to get back with some more 2xs

 

A whole lot of nothing happened today and that was a good thing.

 

Whew, way bigger than what I have. The weeds are pretty strong this year, hundreds of them. Never had it this bad. I might hire a law service to take care of all that and a few other things.

I've got 8.25 acre... Most of it is trees.

 

An amazing service for people saner than me, but, me, personally, I just can't.

I can't trust other people to buy my groceries.

 

I've done that before. I remember that I didn't like it, but I don't remember why. This was in 2011 or something.

Speaking of gardening, i have a little garden right by the sidewalk in my front yard. And I saw that my rose bushes were infested with aphids and inchworms. I used the pesticide bottle that you attach to the garden hose and massacred these pests. Then right out of nowhere, 3 kids and their dad came zooming by on bicycles and I nearly sprayed them!

Oh shit that was a close call!

I need to go to bed, but I took a nap and now my sleep schedule is all fucked up.

I knew a Sunday afternoon nap was going to be a problem, but--oh no, that's Sunday night Neo's problem--Sunday day Neo wants midday nap.

Mmm my sleep cycle is way out of tune too. I have now been awake for like 36+ hrs. Apart from the 5 second nod off's on the airplane or bus which only ends in sharp neck whiplash and the thought "that must have looked dumb, I hope nobody saw that"

I am now back where I probably would be at this time, had I not gone away, in a warm bath. with beads of sweat forming all over the skin that's not underwater. A cleanse at last. I've looked forward to this moment for over a week.
