Eye exam today. Hopefully nothing is off, just my prescription for glasses. It's from all the computer time, but I've come to accept this is my life now. Hopefully they won't tell me to stop. eek!

also, it's kind of my anniversary of getting back into an old band. (My Chemical romance) Not one of the bands I was talking about in a different thread, becaus e let's face it, it's a little hard to obsess when they've broken up...but I still honor my personal anniversaries and join in when there's something good being talked about. (I can't stand some of the nonesense that goes around. boo! but whatever floats your boat!)

I obsess over plenty of bands that have broken up.

I obsess over a lot of things now that I think of it...

well, I guess I still kind of obsess. But I've kind of moved on with them, sortof. I follow their new stuff, when it interests me. But I guess I get all giddy when I meet somebody who knows/likes them. That's few and far between though.

They're hoping you'll just tell them what they want to hear and validate their poor decisions

Man i wish i wasnt an introvert

Had to go to my son's school today for his 4k graduation. I did fine while I was there, chatted with the teachers and parents and acted like a normal person. I love his best friend's mom and talked to her a while. But now i'm curled in a ball drinking hot tea and feeling like my energy is just depleted. It took so much out of me

I still don't know if I'm an extrovert or an introvert. I've once agreed that I get energy from being around people, but I'm not sure if online counts. I have such anxiety/self consciousness that "irl" I often run away from social interactions. But, if I'm prepared for a social interaction, like know what I'm talking about or if I enjoy spending time with a person, I'm very much energized. Maybe it all depends on my mood??
Just random musings. I often wonder about this stuff.

I got 3 1/2 very broken hours of sleep last night. i'm going to bed as soon as my lunch digests. The triplets' mom took the whole day off to be with them so there's no after school time for us today.

    Yes!

I'm not an introvert. I just don't like many people. I see such disguises on their faces that it generally nauseates me.

I'm the same way, it depends on the company. I love being around old friends and family, people I am comfortable with. I get energized around these people. But anyone i've known less than a decade depletes my energy lol

I can get along with folks quickly, as like within a few days or even hours, if I get a good vibe from them, but it's as if I've known them for 10+ years. On the contrary, I could know folks for 10+ years and still be uncomfortable around them. ha!

I took a long nap and am about to be semi-awake from it.

I have to try to grocery shop now.

I went for a long run on the beach, read my book by the sea, and then came home to a glass of wine and some good music and good food. Not a bad night, as far as I am concerned.

Yeah... a burning bed would tend to wake you the fuck up in a hurry.
