Well we've spent the mornin' sortin' thru clothes for the family. Found plenty of shirts for the 2 boys & 2 girls but pants are provin' a challenge. Here's hopin' the luck turns around man

 

Kids are hard on pants if they play vs sitting inside using technology.

It's a beautiful day outside. Monday is off to a good start, just taking it all in.

We had to pick up dollars from the bank today. We were told on the phone they'd be available from 1pm on Monday... so we're there at 2pm and the woman behind the desk is like, "just so you know, from 1 means anything up to 4:30". What? They were there anyway, so it was okay. But she seemed confused by our confusion that we'd been told after one and arrived after one and to be told the courier might not have been there until 4:30 was a bit funny to us.
Why not just tell us they'd have been available from Tuesday morning?

 

Having a late-ish lunch. My homemade frittata!

 

The orthodontist is actually putting my granddaughter's braces on today. My daughter-in-law says she will just stay home from work for the rest of the day once they get home from the orthodontist; so, we don't need to go over to stay with the girls today.

My grandson has mostly been staying home by himself, or with one of his mom's friends, since he got over the flu.

Tomorrow is back to regular schedule for all of us.

I'm doing laundry today with my index finger stuck up in the air. In between, I'm soaking it. The cat bite isn't better, but it isn't worse so that's something!

 

My husband's brother-in-law isn't doing well.

He'd just had surgery from his second bout of lung cancer when we had his 75th Birthday party in October.

He's been through the chemo, had pneumonia, etc...

His wife took him to the hospital yesterday because his oxygen number was low. They found more fluid on the bad lung.

It was aspirated and biopsied this morning and they found cancer for the 3rd time. This time it's in the fluid space between the inner-lung and the outside of the lung; or so it was explained to me.

Hubby is really bummed out. His brother-in-law is like a brother to him. Hubby doesn't think that he will want to go through anymore treatment because the last chemo was so hard on him.

Charlie, that's his name, isn't awake from the procedure yet so he doesn't even know.

 

I feel badly for your hubby, Aerianne. He sounds like it's been a tough couple of weeks for him. Sending you both good warm thoughts that things will get better <3

 

I saw a pic of my granddaughter with her new braces on and, though I didn't think it possible, she looks more adorable than ever!

That reminds me that I need to ask him to make a doctor's appointment for himself.
