This honestly sounds like perfection.
I miss getting up early and having some easygoing calm relaxing time before going about my day.

 

Me too, I love it. I haven't been managing it at home in normal life recently so I'm hoping I can regain some old habits while I'm here.

No cat at home though. I'd worry about the birds too much.

 

I can see why someone could say that. But I'm not sure I agree. It's definitely preferable to the middle class privilege of buying stuff we don't need. And how could we not take joy from returning to a life free of obsessive consumerism and too much stuff?

So long as it isn't a cycle where we re-clutter and then get joy out of decluttering again.
