I liked the press conference, the dude didn't even know what he was reading. It's like coming out of his mouth, as it was written by someone else, and you can tell he's like WTF??? But he said it, and then looked puzzled at what he'd actually said and then someone asked when is this in effect and he pauses and says.. Immediately??

Few mins later, the wall was a thing of the past.

I wonder what it must have been like for my parents and grandparents to grow up in a totally different society, under a completely different regime and system.
It wasn't all good, of course.
But for a long time after the war, nobody spoke about the good things that existed.
Maybe only recently do people acknowledge that there were indeed good things.
It was all in vain anyways, the war and everything. Just a bunch of poor manipulated people.

Anyways, I am reading The Little Prince.
Because apparently today is cry day lol.

 

Negatives far outweigh positives. Like you only hear about the bad things about the Berlin wall... go to Dresden and talk to the oldies about what they think and it will paint a different picture.

 

I really like this song, but for some reason it also reminds me of Gwenyth Paltrow for a reason I can't explain and nobody else hears it lol.
The part that reminds me is at 2:40

Fear Factory is one of those bands that can cause me to mood shift really quickly, because I find a lot of their songs to be quite sad and depressing. I do not find this song sad or depressing but I guess the music makes me a little sad.

This song is awesome too, I love the guitars, it's also sad, even though it's a robot questioning it's own mortality.
Fear Factory always have the great emotional songs to finish albums.
I mean in this song, I kind of jump on the robots side lol, just because I think it's sad he's realised he does have a expiration date.

I went on this tour, and that last song, the whole crowd just held arms and sang, I've only seen that camaraderie from ICP concerts. Must have been 1000 people all locked arms. No moshing, just singing and emotion.

 

I'm having a great day. I walked at the mall, around a neighboring city a little bit, and got some groceries. My fitbit indicates that, so far, I've taken 13k steps. Now it also registers what it perceives as steps when I'm on the elliptical. I sort of wish it would only count what I'm doing in addition to my workout. But I wear it to the gym anyway because I like the way it looks, and I gave my G-Shock to charity when I got it so I have no other way of telling time aside from my cell phone which is a large heavy Samsung. So today has been about fitness and diet, which is great.

 

My miss wants me to take her to the soccer. okay
She said we can stay the night and uber, so she can get stoned.

 

spent time with some family and friends today before they headed back home. ate some good seafood by the beach and had some excellent beers. was a lovely day out
