If your randomly dropping videos and links to your surrounding and you.. I suppose thats whats happening ..
drop your happening now videos in the active thread,, much like i do, I just post them in the stoners lounge. no big deal.. the serve can handle it..
    or your voice threads..
make new one if you want.
not a new thread for every new video tho.
if you wanted a video thread devoted to yourself,, thats just fine, no different than listening to threads.
just rather not have supper clutter..
its all good. yinz can figure it out, not like your noobs and shit..

    Ooooohh Ostarrrrrra
laa na nanana nanana na na na na na

I may have posted this years ago but I am not sure. We never pressed up any records or anything and recorded in a room with a tape deck :p I don't come across all that vocal, probably because the boys sat closer with their guitars while I stood behind them. Think we did about 8-10 tracks with a couple of folkisch remakes.

It is about Goddess, Ostara :) Readers of the bible will recognize her as Easter, or that, Ostara is where Easter comes from. In a rash attempt to combine religions of the world, the scribes used Ostara as their philosophy for Easter. Ostara used to descend into the underground and free trapped souls in the underworld, for 3 days on the lunar cycle. Scribes changed the scenario to coincide with Jesus and instead wrote that Jesus descended into the underworld for 3 days after his crucifixion and named the event "Easter" then decided to have a rotating schedule of dates, so that it would not coincide with the lunar cycle, which is why Easter is never on the same date.

This atrocity may have been welcomed in tribal regions in the west in Frankish lands, but the central and eastern tribes of Germania wanted nothing to do with it, remaining heathen as Saxons up until the French then came through and murdered everybody who worshipped the Irminsul in which Christians again used as a representation of their crucifix, except it was not Jesus on the Irm, it was Wotan who hung-tied himself to the Irminsul. Another characteristic and misrepresentation of biblical tales.

Once my Saxon heritage was raped, the Christians then ventured up North to the final countries that held onto their gods, Scandinavia and the Vikings. The Vikings wanted nothing to do with it, so as Christians do, they waged war and murdered everybody until they submissively accepted. In another rash attempt to do this in a civil matter, the Christians again used another concept of the Heathen North. After the end of days, in Norse, nobody was left alive and even the world tree Yggdrasil (Irminsul) died, but within this tree rose a single male and female which would repopulate the earth. The Christians told the Vikings that yes this is Adam & Eve. They begrudgingly accepted, but continued to worship their own gods in small groups which makes a resurgence in this modern day. :)

I'm also happy to say that our Saxon roots are also making a resurgence as modern day folk are beginning to dwell into the depths of their ancestors, with a realization that Christianity doesn't work for them because it is not culturally significant to our ancestry. Every year more and more people flock to Das Externsteine in an attempt to weave a connection with out heathen ancestry. This personally makes me extremely happy, as our roots were wove and forged right here, in our land and not distant desert sand.

I was just talking in chat with someone who claims to have seen an Irminsul in the movie Indana Jones and the Crystal Skull. He explained at the end when the door opens to the hidden temple is an Irm. I didn't have to watch it because I remember what he's talking about and when I think of it, it is actually quite a significant concept. I am not 100% it's a legit south american concept, but the Irminsul held the heavens from the earth, and the aliens in the movie were interdimensional travelers. We often think of the heavens as other worlds or dimensions in mythology, the fact that the Irminsul opened the door to the centre of the dimensional craft in the temple suggests to me that it could in fact be the same concept.

Now I need to go and study more about South American tribal beliefs.

Now, that's an Irminsul if I've ever seen one.

Netflix apparently has Avengers Infinity War. For some reason, I can't get that excited about watching it. I even heard it's supposed to be good and I'm somehow unmoved.

Damn. This extra pool league I wanted to join starts tonight and I missed out. I might PM the organiser though and let him know I can be a fill in if needed if a team doesn't have players :)

You do realize of course that your summer is our winter here in the northern hemisphere.

Brady is God here in New England except in South Western Connecticut where thousands of transplanted New Yorkers reside.

In terms of popularity Tom Brady is first, followed by Larry Bird, Bobby Orr, Bill Russell, Pedro Martínez, and Carl Yastrzemski of the Red Sox.

Arguably the best movie made, based on an actor that portrayed one character?

    Amuse me.

The Dark Knight (2008) is an excellent movie, unfortunately The Dark Knight Rises (2012) was tainted somewhat by James Holmes, the Aurora Colorado shooter
who killed 12 people and injured 70 others during the Premier of the Dark Knight Rises

This book is starting out fantastically, just galvanising my own conclusions. I love the part how he picks apart what mythology really is. That up until about 1300AD, mythology or "mythos" was actually the word used to describe real events, not imaginary tales. So to our ancients casting the light into "mythos" they weren't saying it's a made up story, they were actually scribing something very real and important to them. He also goes to state that not one culture ever believed in a "fantasy" deity used as an interpretation for something they could not understand, but that every one of them in fact vehemently believed that their gods were physical beings in flesh and in blood. They were very, very real.

    Fascinating stuff. :)

    Unbelievable….

Citing “dangerously cold” temperatures, Jay Peak ski resort in Vermont has decided to close for the day.

No lifts will operate today & uphill traffic is closed.

Jay Peak said temperatures were -25 degrees Fahrenheit at mid-mountain with -60 degree Fahrenheit wind chills.
