What I was arguing was that how often and why matters a little in to what extent we make use of airplanes. So frequency, reason and the exact destination among other factors all come into play. In my example i feel less guilty primarily because its one of the few flights i took. So that's why i say even if it was for leisure i would be ok with it. Using air travel responsibly doesn't mean you should never make use of it. Just don't use it as banally as Mally.
And of course I'm not only calling Mally out with these posts, it just started after a comment of him where he mentioned his third airplane flight for this year solely for leisure purposes. And it continued because he reacted to it as a spoiled kid with a temper who refutes any critical thought on this kind of behavior as a personal attack, self righteousness or jealousy. Well guess what, that's only a reason for me to explain better

And I don't think we should hold corporations accountable? Its a combined effort.

And yes, i agree people who really fly every once in awhile (like literally), aren't the biggest problem. People who put most of their extra money in cheap flights to the other side of the continent in order to have that 4th vacation... are a slightly bigger problem. That the corporations are an even bigger player (unless perhaps if we combine all these careless air travellers) doesn't render what we as consumers can do/limit useless or meaningless
