I am doing great my life is boring and I help take care of the dogs. I am making friends with a house mate that is really cool. I am trying not to get into another house mates troubles. We had an interesting Sunday.

Got 2 of my fishing poles ready to go for the weekend probably. I dunno how to do fancy pants ties so, quadruple knots for me.

 

I just went and bought a coffee.
Its hot. Like too hot to drink straight away. OK that's cool. I'll just wait.

 

Quadruple is a good sounding word.

 

Yeah you don't need fancy pants knots. Just a quadruple. And 5mm left over. A big dirty musket ball sinker and a small hook.

 

I haven't been getting the sleep I need and I'm wide awake af.

If you ever hook a really large fish it's going to snap that quadruple knot without a second thought...

Oh Ty, you and your stories.

I've caught many big Asian carp my way and I rarely lose them but I use firewire line and that never snaps. Carp fight well for the first few mins before tiring. The weakest point I always find is the hook itself. Like I'll snap the hook and keep the o ring.

Then I bring the carp up and leave for the crows. It's illegal to release a Asian carp back into the ecosystem so, they are pests which is what I go for. I don't really do trout fishing because I don't eat trout and or other fish, so best not to even catch them. But a carp, I like fishing then out. Dirty bastards.

 

Don't be let down, my ovaries are bigger than most dudes nuts.
