31 in a few days. :p but I remember that ad, and do you remember the one with the little girl wanting to buy her dad the best drill over the phone and she had all these questions and the guy on the phone doesn't even know the information she does on drills? Lol. Ryobi maybe.

I'm in the market for some power tools, including a drill with torque settings. I was all set to go cordless but it sounds like y'all aren't impressed with 'em.

*shrug* You'd probably be fine with cordless, dice. In fact makita updated their battery tech fairly recently... I think you'd get decent bang for your buck.

There Are Three Ways To Go About Buying A Cordless......

(1)....Buy A Cheap One And Just Before The Warranty Expires Take It Back And Get A Replacement

With A Full Warranty......Keep Doing This Year After Year.. :D ....This Is What Some "Tradies" Do......

They Buy 4 Or More......And As The Batteries Fail They Get Their Wife To Take Them Back.....

Make A Claim......And Walk Out With Yet Another New One......Rinse And Repeat..... :D

(2).....Buy A Good Quality One If You Have Regular Work For It......Don't Let It Sit For Months

On End.....And Have To Kiss The Batteries Goodbye......

(3).....Just Buy A Corded One And Save All The Drama...... :D

    Cheers Glen.

  12. It might rain here tomorrow.
If that happens I feel like I am going to run outside naked and dance on the street.
