What's Happening???

News last night: Full grown cougar spotted in Springfield. (2 blocks from my house!) Seen again in alley between D an C streets.
Guess I'll get some pork chops on a rope , drag it behind me and troll the alleys to see what I can see.

seen a 10k equipment trailer for sale on my way into town

grabbed the number and called it...guy wanted way less than i expected

already paid for and plated (i just got back from spending close to an hour at the dmv) ...i cant pass a good deal like that...needs some work but a bit of steel and some paint i can make it worth 5 times what i paid

 

Is that the triangle looking trailer like you put glass on but it's a triangle tool box instead?

Whew.......howdy folks.....Today was a right pain in the ass. Mornin' wasn't too bad. Just harvested beans, tomatoes, basil, garlic, & blackberries. It was the afternoon work that beat me. Had to dismantle the 7 spring hoop tunnels which entails pullin' all the hoop stakes, bout 12 to a tunnel, movin' the rocks that held the tarps in place, & then movin' the 100 some odd foot long plastic tarps too. This might notta been too hard but it was all in a jungle of weeds up above our heads, all the tarps were buried half a foot deep in mud, & some of the 50 or so stones were so damn big only I could lift them. Just glad to be done........gonna sleep like a baby tonight.

 

Some bourbon cola before bed you'll sleep like a baby.

 

If I had some you can bet your ass I would. If I had any alcohol I'd be drinkin'.

 

I just did a number on my leg, bad, walked into a bollard full stride got me right in the muscle. It's gonna take some drinks to get me to play pool today lol.

 

There's no huge bruise yet but I can see a darker outline the size of 2 oranges. what a dickhead. 31 years old just about, walks into a bollard. Ah well, codeine. Weed and booze will get me through pool. I haven't tried to play yet but it's going to hurt shifting my weight onto it lucky its my left leg.

@spiffy that's a huge trailer for tools? It makes my trailer look like a matchbox car lol. But that looks like you put a boat or a car on to it? Or a maybe a whole mobile construction site.

 

I was just outside and the baby bluebirds are in the process of leaving their nest. Two of them are flopping around on the ground trying to find their wings. I thought about putting them on a tree branch but the adults would flog me. It's happened before.

they used it for small excavators and paving machines

i will be using it for cars and trucks ....or maybe just refurbishing it to sell and ill keep the big rampless tilt deck that im in the process of building
