What's Happening???

I hate my type of memory. I have really good episodic memory but it's only useful to help people remember trivial stuff or enhance a story retelling but I can call people out on things they said/did which I've come to learn, people generally don't like.

I wish I could trade my memory to remember like Math equations or historical facts or something.

it's like i watch a documentary or something and i take out of it, the stupidest points and stuff but for the other 90% of the documentary, nup didn't remember it, didn't even understand it.

Do you know such and such did this?

My memory storage banks are 80 to 90 percent filled with movie quotes from the 80s and 90s.

 

Music is about the only art form that really sticks with me. I got a vast repository of musical knowledge, to the point where I have had friends call me "GBpedia" but like movies in general, let alone documentaries I'm pretty terrible at commiting to memory.

Even some of my favorite movies, if they aren't in that oft-quoted "meme status" level, I couldn't tell you any of the dialogue.

 

This is my memory too. I remember everything that happens. I'm always like "remember when..." to my family/friends but they never remember and I always do

But start quoting a movie we watched together and i wont have a clue, unless it's Forrest Gump

 

im having it with lemon squash. not bad actually

 

it reminded me of this time i watched this documentary where some people set up a stand with normal bottles of water, but they told people it was recycled sewerage treated water and to see if they knew the difference and nobody could tell the difference obviously. but there was this one guy who liked "POOOHHHHH this tastes like poo, ohhhh yuck, this is disgusting" it was funny cause like that'd probably be my reaction too, which was the reaction to taste of the absinthe i was like POHHHH this is fucken horrible! but it was okay.

Alright so i took one sip/halfmouthful maybe, and in that sentence i just wrote, the front of my head is really tight and i saw the screen tilt a few times.

Thoughts?

my team only lost 2 games without me fucken assholes! where was that all year?

the funny thing is the team they beat today 18-6 (and remember i forfeit 4 games by not playing) was the winner of Division 3 to come up to 2nd Div, we are now falling to 3rd Div. so that'll be good momentum. going we just smashed their division winner lol.

 

I have a group project in Sociology to work on today. My piece of the report is about transgender in the military, Chelsea Manning (I know, how irrelevant and petty of me), and the transgender ban/it's effect on the approximate 15,000 transgender troops in the United States. I think I will try to focus on the 15,000 because the Chelsea Manning thing mostly writes itself.

 

the trans world has changed, and they want to military to suit them. sorry trans will have to suit to the military. if they choose to be trans, still have to do the job

 

- What do you do for recreation?
- Oh, the usual. I bowl. Drive around. The occasional acid flashback

 

I think by and large they are willing and prepared to do that.
