What the hell are you talking about lol? Ikea just constructed it's biggest location which is located near where I am about two years ago. During summer im gonna go there and get some meatballs, take them to one of the beds and eat them just wearing my boardies.

The 2 trolley routes that I can take to get downtown are interesting. One of them goes by the colleges and upscale shopping malls and generally nice areas while the other goes through mostly ghetto and rundown areas.

I wonder how much of that is intentional planning versus routing efficiency.

In some countries, and I think even some US states, people refer to shopping carts as trolleys

The "trolley" here is usually called a tram or rail I believe in most places.

    I like that...

As a impressionable adolescent in the Jackass era, did you or your friends ever do Buggie Bumping?

I wish we were calling it that.

So is it an actual trolley system that runs on a rail?

I ask because we have "trolleys" here but they're actually just open air buses made to look like trolleys

I do not recall such shenanigans

The iconic trolleys of San Francisco are more like your trolleys. That's what I knew as a trolley growing up.

Up there in the Bay Area they have BART, which is an acronym and serves the same function as trolleys down here. They are on rails and go above, below and through streets.

    No...

We did figure out that shopping carts get rather unstable at around 35 MPH, though... Usually requiring skin grafts as a result.

I was told that the preferred term is cable car by one of the operators as I was riding one.

Cable car refers to the means by which the cars move along their routes. The operator either connects or disconnects the car from the cable (which is continually moving) to move or stop the car.

    Whew!

    No more "testing" the stomach.

I ate one slice of cheese yesterday and that was my last.

This has been terribly painful and I'm ready to be over it.
