There’s a chance I will go back to Alaska in a couple more weeks.

 

Well...what's the story, morning glory?

Part of me hopes its a job because I know you need that, but part of me hopes it's some chill downtime. Halibut and relaxation...you deserve both, homie. So...job or vaycaycay???

 

My relative might get to pick up another shift up there for the summer tourist season, and if he is approved to work again there, I’ll get to tag along again. Oh man, It’d be nice if I got a seasonal job up there, but that’s not the case this time; still unemployed. Anyway I lucked out big time this last week, because the weather was in the high 70s and sunny all week long. Which is rare for coastal AK. So we shall see what happens.

Yeah weed is legal in Alaska.

From what I gather, it was one of those states where marijuana laws were never heavily enforced. I’ve known people who lived there for decades, and they’d see marijuana plants growing in peoples’ apartment windows back in 1981.

However, I won’t be getting High, as I still may have to pass a drug test, and employers still test for that in legal states

Yeah I heard THC usually stays in your system for 2 weeks. You can get it out of your system faster through vigorous exercise and drinking lots and lots of water.

 

It depends on the test.
If it's one of the ones where they test your hair, it can go back 3-6 months, I believe.

 

I meant the rifle though.

Moving back to Shanghai next week. I've been in a smaller city for the summer (we have to work in private training schools part-time in order to get our full salary).

There's an empty room that I'll turn into an office/library. Not a fan of the green kitchen, but it's free so I can't bitch.
