On the contrary, the satisfaction is all day long !!! and raising the chair into a reclining position is even better !!!

Nah, I'm with YFM. I'd feel terrible if I spent my days like that.

Mmm. I get so anxious if I know I have to sit for long periods of time.

Yes, well unfortunately, age and infirmity doesn't give me much choice.

Sorry, Vlad. I am glad you find enjoyment in it then. Too many people, when not given a choice, choose to moan about it.

Oct 4 is animal day here. I almost assumed it was international. Guess not?
The plop sounds like going nr. 2

I am sure the plop is much more satisfying after days of constipation.

Plop was the name of the baby owl in the children's book "the owl who was afraid of the dark". That's what I keep thinking.

The crux with sitting in a comfy chair having fun with media or entertainment is that you have to dig it :p Driftrue and YFM obviously wouldn't choose to do so. I do regularly :D
Esp. after a few intensive physical days (but that's not necessarily needed ;)) i can have a great time hanging around in my living room for days! Usually switch a few times during the day between couch and comfy chair though. It only sucks if you do it for too long. But obviously what is too long differs per person ;)

It is (pure heaven if there is one :-D). But the days in front of it are not that great :p

Well I felt bad for criticizing it after Vlad pointed out he didn't have so much choice anyway. Best to enjoy what you can do than be angry about what you can't do.

The days provided to me by Tumbling Dice are solely food and drink days. Confusion seems to persist, as I already made light of hotwater wanting to eat aliens when he mentioned that the Storm Area 51 day was not mentioned.

There may be animal in my taco but methinks that's not the intended method of celebrating the festivities you are referring to.

The craziest damn thing happened to me tonight.
I was cooking dinner and turned my back for a minute to do the dishes and when I turned back around there were flames a foot high coming off the burner and starting to lick at the wall. I grabbed a big container of table salt and put it out quickly

But that isnt the crazy part, the crazy part is that we dont keep table salt in the house usually. We keep Himalayan salt rocks in a grinder but that's it. My boyfriend had bought a container of table salt 10 minutes before the fire because he bought a salt gun the other day.
So there's this long chain of events that resulted in my kitchen not burning down...if our friend didnt have a salt gun, if my boyfriend didnt decide to go buy one, if I wasnt out of basil and didnt ask him to go to the store for me tonight. That salt had been in our house literally 10 minutes.

Moral of the story, always always always keep table salt in stock

I subconsciously expected you to say "Jesus was looking after me", or something similar. That the way people around my next of the woods end their barely avoided disaster stories.

  20. Who knows, though, Melial... If your boyfriend hadn't gone to get basil then maybe you wouldn't have even tried to cook.

I'm just saying, it kind of depends upon what started the fire. If the fire was inevitable, that's one thing, but if it was particular to this circumstance, that's another.
