Day off time folks. Sort of at least. Still got pigs, chickens, chicks, and sheep to take care of, firewood to stack, fencin' to fix, a gate to mend but it's all piddly shit and easily done.

 

I thought you had to leave the farm. Were you able to go back? Or are you at a different one. I don't recall. All I remember was loving your enthusiasm for simple country living.

 

I missed you so much while you were away lol

 

We're putting the new bulbs in my headlights today.

I've got a new steering wheel cover I finally remembered to take out to the car.

And, I've got to clean the inside of my windshield. My son borrowed the car and "cleaned" it a while back. Whatever he did to the inside of the windshield make it an awful mess. I got the driver's side cleaned but not the passenger side.

I'm going to be doing lots of driving in the dark and I need all the help I can get with vision.

I can't get enough of these damn videos. It must be the man in me that wants to destroy stuff.

 

All of the posters here have a distinct "voice" and writing style and it would be interesting to see if we could identify different forum members by just a writing sample.

I have been reading some of my posts and am wondering if my sentence structure is annoying to read--do my sentences flow, are they varied enough, are they clear? I want to shake up my sentence structure and improve my writing so that it is easier and more enjoyable to read.

Anyhow, just a random thought--and feedback would be welcome.

 

Smoke more Pot and dose more Ecstasy. It might not help with the former but it'll definitely help with the latter.

Jk, I enjoy your writing style. Only other feedback I have is, at times, you could unpack your ideas a bit more.

While I watch these I get an unexpected uneasy feeling that as the person runs away from the inevitable explosion.

Some adult or child or pet in the woods could approach the device and be hurt or die..

The movie Butterfly Effect comes to mind..

 

I never have considered it quite the same way. I do imagine some posters in a certain voice but I can't say why. Mel is Lisa Simpson. McFuddy is Sylvester Stallone. Eric! is Morgan Freeman (until he starts liking butt things...then he becomes Sir MIx A Lot.) Nose is a surfer chick from S. California, with the sterotypical accent.. I've actually spoken to Lolli on the phone and, yeah, she sounds like a New Yorker (she told me I sound like a hick ).

 

Not sure it's the same thing you're talking about, but after reading a few posts from the same person, you start to see their personality come through. I don't know if I'd recognize anyone by their writing style, but I think I'd get some of you based on personality.

 

It would be interesting if there was a way to filter or hide the poster's username and avatar, then read their post, and test out your ability to guess who wrote the post.
