For what it's worth I hate going to the doctor too. I haven't been for my annual checkup yet. My last doctor's appointment I was 49 and before I left he casually mentions that next year I will be due for a colonoscopy. To hell with that. Before anybody sticks anything in my ass I want dinner and a movie first. Then, later, a glass of cognac and some Barry White music. Which wouldn't get my doctor anywhere with me anyway seeing as I hate the arrogant bastard.

r u vaping these days? And are you consuming CBD these days on a regular basis? Did your CBD order coincide with you starting to feel crappy?

I do like to play doctor on the internet, but I'd just go for the most exciting diagnosis...

You have an identical twin and just need to suck the energy from her.

    Feel better buddy

I haven't had CBD in like a year but what's the deal with that? I've heard about the thc vape cartridges but haven't heard anything about CBD.
I used the thc vape cartridges, well just one actually, for like a month then it started making news that people were dying from counterfeits so I stopped.

    :climbs on soapbox:

I dont really have a right to be preachy about looking after your health but I really do recommend you guys get your colonoscopies. My uncle died from colon cancer and went through hell with it. And my mom had a massive benign tumor in her colon but even with it being benign she still went through an ordeal last year with 3 surgeries and a temporary ileostomy.
Colon cancer is one of those cancers that is so simple to catch early, if they catch it during a routine colonoscopy it's one of those things where they can scrape the polyp off during the colonoscopy and you can go on your merry way, versus not catching it and then suffering through chemo
Same with routine skin screenings, cervical exams , breast exams (for the ladies). I'm horrible about seeing a doctor when I'm sick but I do make a point to do all the preventative stuff on a yearly basis and will start doing regular colonoscopies when I reach that age too

  7. My mom had a colonoscopy. They cut two holes in her intestines. In the end, she had to get 40% of her intestines removed. Then she died.

I hardly ever see a doctor and I don't like that being framed as sensible or not sensible. Some claim immigrants are ruining the NHS, I think it's more that people here go to the doctor at the slightest thing, a cold, feeling a bit tired. I know that's not the same for you over there. I just think that Mel is right in trying holistic natural things first. Most minor health issues probably can be fixed with diet and exercise, sleeping better, meditation etc. We're a nation of hypochondriacs because pharmaceutical companies are drug pushers.

Of course I believe people should go to their various check ups to catch serious things early.

Overuse of antibiotics makes me a bit angry actually, because when resistant infections evolve as a result, that's putting everyone at risk.

I concur. Doctors hand out antibiotics like candy and it's really irresponsible. I

Antipsychotics/antidepressants too... Which is really disturbing. Many times for "Off Label" reasons and the patients have no idea how bad the side effects can be. (Oh... By the way, if you miss a dose you might kill yourself, or your family)

Yes! My mom was put on a low dose lexapro for an off label use and wasnt told anything about side effects if she missed a dose. So she missed a dose one day and started having really bad dissociative episodes. Anti depressants really need to be prescribed with more caution

So long as it's making some people rich, there will be no caution.
