I like Blink182 I hear they're considered pretty hardcore

 

Seein' as I was jammin' to some Molly & Murphys till 11 last night I think this statement is made in error.

 

I like:

The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, Pretenders, Minor Threat, Husker Dü, Bad Brains, Bad Religion, Black Flag, Operation Ivy, Green Day (Early), Pennywise, AFI, The Distillers, and Flogging Molly,

Probably some others too but those are the ones I could rattle off the top of my head.

Do you like folk rock more than traditional folksy stuff? I have loads of recs!

 

dropkick murphy was the last band at one concert i went to a few years back

halfway thru their first song 70% of the crowd left....i was one of them



classified and finger eleven played before them...they were both great especially classified




next was pretty well the same ...54-40 and kim mitchell both great performances then foghat comes on like a bunch of assholes totally ignoring the crowd and just jamming with themselves....a ton of people left

That must have made them feel rubbish. Was it that bad?

What if they thought of playing a hilarious joke where they pretended to be bad for the first song and then they were gonna be like HAAA NOT REALLY

 

I love both but I guess folk rock like Steeleye Span, Pentangle and Fairport Convention most. And certain scandinavian folk metal.

 

I love punk. Punk rock was the soundtrack to my coming of age story. That and 90s grunge

 

Our weather is still going to 90F this afternoon but the nights and mornings feel better.

I think my carpet knife is going to be delivered tomorrow. I'll start taking carpet up as I move things around my sitting room.

I'll be able to move the cat tree and to paint the desk before moving it.

sounds like the problem with my neighbours tree will resolve itself ...especially if we get gusts from south or south west

 

In the last decade it was Slayer. In fact it is getting old We used to yell it at random bands as a running joke.. Also yelling "zugabe" after the first or second song.. (yeah i guess one had to be part of it to fully appreciate) :-D
