What's Happening???

I want Pancakes for breakfast but I think I'm too lazy to cook Bacon to go with them. What a shame...Bacon would be so good.

 

They're talking of taxing bacon here to "save lives". Bacon has nitrates which are bad for you. What is this obsession with saving lives. It's kind of weird.

 

Piano today... I will practice for the piano Olympics. I have to play "Chinese Kites" and a I IV I V7 I progression in Bb, but not until Monday. So today I practice!

 

It's like the media/Government are so afraid of death, that we must all live longer just to assuage their fear.

Yeah, Nitrates aren't good for us and neither are most of the other ingredients in Pancakes.

I'll see if hubby wants to cook Bacon. Either way, I'm cooking Pancakes.

Hubby had already eaten leftover stew for breakfast so I'm having only pancakes.

 

Do you have a piano or electric piano at home? I have a Yamaha Piaggero. It's marvellous. It has 76 graded soft touch keys that give a really satisfying piano feel. It's only around 400 dollars I would say, maybe less. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to play. It has many different voices and you can synch it with an orchestration effect.

 

Are the notes in that V7 chord F-A-C-E ?

I think you're wrong. Seems the majority of the citizenry share that fear. And not primarily because its installed by the media.

It is F7, such that A, Eb, and F are played. (inversion? we haven't gone over those in piano, but they've been mentioned several times in guitar lessons). Would F-A-C-E be a Major seven?

 

I don't have one, no. I did have a 61 key MIDI controller for use with Ableton Live, but that went back to guitar center in favor of something smaller. Now I have a little 25 key.

 

It's raining so at least that might send the wandering dogs back to their homes.

Within 5 minutes Emma had to run off two different dogs from our driveway.

I especially don't like the dogs running around my place because I've got two little kittens out there.

Yah F-A-C-E would be a major 7th but it would likely create dissonance as the E is not in the Bb scale, I just thought it amusing those would be the notes.

Iirc inversion is having another note other than the root note of the chord being played as the lowest note, so if your A was lower than the F, yah that'd be inverted.

 

Started off with vision problems and then felt like a headache in my eyeball. Then I started having balance issues and the pain in my eye and head got so intense we went to the ER. Gave me toradol for the pain, prednisone for the relapse. Got home at like 4:30am and slept through most of yesterday. I feel okay today. I'm back at work. Last night I had some light-sensitivity issues that were bad enoughI couldn't watch TV or even look at my phone. We just sat around in the darkness talking like in a blackout.
