Gonna go get some Beer when the rain stops !

 

Everyone needs to just settle down and eat their elevenses.

 

My friend lives on a homestead and they prepare all of their food and goods from things that they have grown or animals they have raised. They are big on pagan traditions and traditional winter recipes associated with solstice celebrations. And we are having a skaldic circle. I don't know exactly what that is but all of his parties are such an interesting experience that I am excited to see. Lots of home made beer, cider, egg nog, cheeses, venison dishes, and other obscure foods only found in dusty cookbooks at antique book stores.

I would recommend it. Go out into the woods and befriend someone who is foraging for mushrooms. That may be your best bet.

Thats actually a wonderful suggestion, I often struggle making new friends because I like my friends strange and most people I come across arent strange enough lol. I think I WILL befriend someone foraging for mushrooms.
