whats something we dont know about you?

I have 3 phobias.
1. Elevators (I've been trapped in two of them in my youth)
2. Needles (having to do with a series of tests at a very young age, stitches on my forehead, and surgery in my early teens)
3. Worms (I'm still trying to figure that one out)

I've faced 2 of 3, but I'm still having issues with the worms.

Betcha didn't know that!

 

I have 3 pets: 2 cats and a dog.
I am a bit of a fitness freak - I work out 4 to 5 times per week. I have a fairly healty diet however, I do love to have a good cocktail.
My favorite food is Sushi.
I have a B.S. in Accounting and I worked for The state of Louisiana as a government auditor for 12 years.
I a currently the manager of the resturant the employes me.
I have had 2 long term relationships in my life. My former lover passed away a few years ago.
I have been to Europe on 5 occasions.
I do not like what would be called "pretty boys" by most of the gay community. I am attracted to older guys. Additionally, I find men with a few extra pounds very sexy.
I am a total sci-fi geek: Star Trek, Dr. Who, Star Wars, Twilight Zone, etc.
I pretty much a non-mainstream gay man.
I am very liberal and I am politically active in local gay rights groups, feminist groups, atheists groups and other progressive causes.
I did some nude modeling in my 20's.
I have one sibling, unfortunately the relationship is strained.
I am basicaly a loner. I am not very social. I have many acquintances but only 1 friend that I completely trust.
When I was younger I was very wild but, I have calmed down considerably.

 

Something you don't know about me?
1. Well, I am brand new to this forum! Like 5 minutes ago signed up and now I'm jumping in.
2. I've always wanted to be a comedian. Always! We watched comedy at my house not sports.
3. I love my dogs. I really should get another hobby because I infantize my dogs too much!
4. I dance alone in my living room to cheesy pop songs. The more choregraphed the better!

Sheesh, I think maybe I should be embarrassed by now right?

I am obsessed with dancing [i am ALWAYS dancing]
I can't stand pizza of any kind [ew!]
I read more magazines than a pre-teen girl.
And I am absolutely, comletely obsessed and taken over by fashion. I effin LOVE fashion. [going to college for fashion designing and marketing as a matter of fact]

Hm...

I fidget a lot. Not because I'm nervous, but because I can never sit still.

I don't like most straight girls.

I'm the "therapist" wherever I go. I don't know why...but people always tell me their problems...I know everything about everybody eventually. That's not always a good thing either...some things I'd rather not know.

I refuse to give people store-bought cards, and encourage them not to give me any...I make them instead. Mostly UnBirthday cards.

I brag on all of the people I love...I feel so fortunate and proud to have them in my life.

I'm really nice...almost to the point of being a pushover. But I don't allow myself to be pushed over.

Except my sense of humor can get mean...I tease a lot. Unless I feel like the person's offended.

I keep a diary. It's just random thoughts, dreams I've had, meditation experiences, philosophy, ect.

I crochet.

I don't exercise as much as I'd like...or as much as I should.

I'm VERY pale, no matter how much sun I get. My skin has two tones...white and red.

My biggest turn on is a person who's completely at peace with themselves, and therefore at peace with those around them. That's who I want to be.

I'm really attracted to aquarians, even though I'm a taurus and we're completely wrong for eachother.

I never make the first move.

I lived for a year on the Amazon River in Iquitos Peru. I have taken part in Shamanistic spiritual and healing ceremonies on many occasions. I have adopted and raised my sons as a single parent, my youngest son is 14 years old. I love old cars and have a 1939 Chevy coupe (Hot Rod). I am a counselor and worked for years at a mental hospital before going into private practice. I look like a cross between a hippy and a hill-billy.

Anyway here's a list of stuff about me;
I tend to act more mature than my age, with some exceptions when i want to be random

I'm a spiritual person and very open to new ideas or theories

I try to be as optmistic as i can be and make the most of what get's thrown my way

My dream is to travel to many other countries, hopefully i'll get to goto Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Taihiti and parts of the USA. I'd love to goto these places with a boyfriend or an awesome mate.

Money is the least of my worries

I still don't know what i want to pursue as a career

And really the only other defining thing about me, is being gay

 

As is yours You do seem fairly mature for your age. And being random is hardly immature - my 45 year old History teacher is random as hell, but still very mature and I think it's great. Being able to have fun is probably more of a mature characteristic than an immature one.
