Whats the best festival/gathering/concert you've ever been to?

    The best concert I attended was my first. 1971 in Dallas, 3rd row from stage, highly stoned on herb. Onstage: Warmup Carlos Santa and Buddy Miles, main event was James Gang with Joe Walsh as the lead guitar.

    Best Festival was California Jam 2 in 1978. Hundreds of thousands on hand to watch Ted Nugent, Heart, Santana, Aerosmith, Foreigner and Mahogany Rush. Amazing stuff ... :D

    Frank Zappa, November 1981 in Cincinnati OH. I'd just fallen in love and moved in with this girl, this was one of our first dates, and we each took a really good dose of LSD just before showtime. It was such a blast, the music was just amazing... we were together 28+ very VERY happy years and only death parted us.
