When I went out to hose down the air conditioner (the dog keeps chewing the water line that feeds directly into the a/c cuz he's a little asshole), I decided to spray down the yard a little because it's getting super dry and super hot lately and my dog decided to run through the water, then roll around in the dirt. It made me laugh and was pretty much the high point of my day.

 

It was amazing. I know how magical, deep, and wild that first time is. The look in his eyes and his laughter made me all warm n fuzzy inside.

Around 1 am the highlight of the day was getting sprayed down with day-glo paint and chem-light juice at a rave. At 4 pm my highlight was to finally stop being sick from a botched early morning ayahuasca trip after getting back from the rave.

Vanilla was amazing and epic. Burning crusade only stepped it up, even if they ditched 40 man's and stuff.

Lich king played like an ezmode beta or alpha, like it COULD have been good, if the project headers had been fired and it had been radically re-vamped.

I just canceled my subscription, still lvl 82 on my main. My main with 100 days played time, and all sorts of rare mounts, items, etc, from 6 years of playing wow. They totally destroyed what lich king had left of the game, with the introduction of cataclysm. Waste of money, but I'm glad I spent it, so that I could KNOW that the wow I was walking away from wasen't the one I learned to know and love.

Being a champion of the naaru on a netherdrake doesn't mean anything anymore, when all the kids who have been playing for ten hours have their uber pugger titles and epic re-skinned nether drake mounts.

The new "art" is shameful. I hope it's the death of blizzard.

And when I canceled my subscription, the questionare kept trying to push me towards saying I wanted the game easier, and thats why I was quitting. I chose the "other" option, and wrote in the longest rant against ezmode and wrecking the story and general premise that made wow fun that the text box would allow.

Have you tried Rift yet? 10 day free trial ATM. Worth checking out. Wonderful game. Sorta left my 6 year reign on WoW for it.

What is it, what's it like compared to classic/tbc wow, and..... does it run on XP?

I don't do that whole "upgrade" business.... gotta run on linux or XP, with my geforce 7950gt/core 2 duo.... But I'd love another game with artwork and design rivialing classic wow.

 

Yeah, it should run. Might have to have a lot of stuff turned all the way down but I think it will b ok.
