I'm moving back to New Zealand next week.

 

I saved a toddlers life at the beach this weekend. He started walking toward the water and got slammed by a big wave and dragged out a bit. I was right by the water, so I ran in after him, clothes and all, and got him before the current took him too far.

The father tried giving me $50. I told him not to worry about it...it was my job at one time.

 

it was my job at one time to deliver pizzas but that doesn't mean if i see a pizza sitting there i'm going to drive it across town to somebody's house for free.

 

I had my gas line shut off to my house... Good or bad, cool or not, I donno.

 

That is nothing shy of amazing...I would've taken the money, but even without the offer...nothing shy of amazing.

I'm making some cool new friends at work.

 

I was afraid I somehow lost my creativity.. Haven't been able to draw, write, or make a song for a couple months now.

Finally made a new favorite song! Probably doesn't mean much to anyone else, but it sure makes me happy

 

Met up with lithium in Amsterdam after having been apart for a week and spent a couple of days trying to ride oversized bicycles around the city and looking at hookers in windows.

When we got back to England lithium's parents took us out into the country with a picnic and we watched some pretty good actors performing Twelfth Night, right there in the middle of some field.

I don't often see pizzas laying around, though.

It really isn't anything to me anymore...any time I'm around water, I'm naturally on the look out. My nephew fell into a pool face first today on accident and I didn't think anything of just reaching in and picking him up by his leg.

its just a natural instinct having grown up around water my whole life and lifeguarded for a few years. I'm hoping to get back into shape and start working weekends at the gym pool.

 

writing a song is big! You created something that didn't exist before and I think that's awesome.

I just finished my first full song recently. I have bits and pieces of lots of songs written but I've never been able to structure and complete any of them so I'm pretty proud of myself

 

You can't take your eyes off pizza, either. Shit is flighty as fuck.

 

some people from a religion i no longer care a lot about showed up at my door. just as i was getting ready to make my weekly trek down to the atm machine to pay my rent the next day. they bought me a frappachino at the starbux that was next to my bank. both the starbux in my town are next to different branches of my same bank. saved me a walk in this heat, which is still excessive, even in the late evening.
