A good majority of people here are different, and the fact that they don't call themselves "hippies" is a good thing. I'd say that most people here are more open minded, caring, thoughtful, perceptive, and intelligent than the average person, so I don't see how you're complaining. It sounds like you're looking for a forum where everyone discusses "peace and love" all day, which sounds like hell.

If you want to stay away from the idiots, don't venture into most of "Love and Sex." A lot of rejects join this site just for that forum and its subforums... and to try to score some cybersex, I imagine.

erm, yeah, because no one would ever go online or to a forum to get some insight on a situation, or a couple tips. I mean, that's the forum that attracted me to hipforums in general, it's easy enough to avoid the creeps who want to actually meet you and suchlike - it's just dealing with people online, in any forum, on any messenger service you have to learn to seperate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to people - the good ones vs the freaks
