It's the egg of a chicken where the foetus is half developed. Then it's steamed.

HAHA, I went and googled it and found out that it was a duck's foetus not a chicken's.

It just shows how little I care about what I taste.

I ate two mealworm's about a year ago, while I was working at a fauna rehab for Aussie wildlife. They sort of tasted like peanut butter. Didn't think much of it for a while, till I found out what they turned into:
