Whats the most $$ you've ever found ?

$1500 in $100 bills in a wallet by a fuel pump. I looked thru the wallet it had a few phone numbers and I was able to hook up with the guy that night at another truck stop to return it. Glad the scale house did not DOT his ass since his cdl was in it too. He bought me dinner and we still talk now and then on the cell phone.

 

Once i was downtown and i found twenty dollars on the ground. i walked two more blocks and bought some drugzzzzz with it

Perhaps an owner/operator who doesn't drive for a company and gets paid in cash?

 

Yes he was an O/O heading toward NY to Hunts Point. The tolls alone will eat up $400 and the lumpers will steal another $300+

 

So you basically returned his operating budget... I'd have been appreciative too. Not many have the character to give that back.

 

I haven't found a whole lot - I once found $10, but that's pretty much it.
