standing up against the war can end the war sooner, which can save more lives. and just because something is impossible doesn't mean you should quit. if it wasn't for people who protested and ended wars quicker, we might all be dead already. face it, warfare will most likely be the reason for the end of the world unless a natural event happens first. but even then, the government uses weather control to fight other countries nowadays.

but like i said, if not enough people stand up against this war and try to stop it soon, then there will be a WW3 in our lifetime, and we could all end up dead. so no, you shouldn't move on to "another project" if you're anti-war.

 

But, the fact of the matter is, if we stop this war to soon, Iraq will most likely revert, making the war obsolete. Their is no true weather control, their are tests on it, but its not a weapon.

 

well, we shouldn't have started the war in the first place. but since we're in it now, we should still end it before things get carried away. Saddam is out of power. let's just leave them be like we did in Nam

 

I'd rather have had this war than have gotten gassed or something by saddam. We left in Nam because we were losing, this time we're winning, so there isn't much reason to leave, and Jester is right, it is good for the economy.

 

you have to look at the big picture though. our country is the most powerful country in the world. bush thinks this war will go on for generations. i'm betting sooner or later a WW3 will start and then you won't be so worried about our economy.

 

I have no doubt there will be a WW3, but it's not going to be caused by Iraq.
