Yea man, it;s just two dudes. The bass player has a 5 string and the highest string is a banjo string, and hes plugged in with one of them octave changer dealies, thus the intense feedback and high pitched instrument sounds. The drummer is just a jazz monkey on meth and LSD
I met the drummer actually, twice in the same show, chillest dude I ever met in a band. I never got to speak with the bass player though but if I ever do, Id love to thank him in person

Im gonna introduce them to the bassist I play with, see what he thinks of all that.

I wish I could play drums so bad. It looks so fun.

thats awesome that you like lightning bolt too
I've been listening to them since around 2002

very dissonant, edgy, and satisfying on a level that other music simply doesn't reach.

by the way, if you want the most euphoric trip of your life, listen to either of these albums by Sigur Rós: Ágætis Byrjun, or Takk...

Takk is by far their best album.
No amount of words could ever describe how completely and objectively beautiful the things were that I saw and felt when on LSD while listening to this album.

If you don't know, Sigur Rós is a band of four guys from iceland that make some of the most beautiful music in the world. You definitely don't have to be tripping to enjoy their music.

However, if you are lucky enough to listen to Takk while on LSD, I can absolutely guarantee you that it will be the most beautiful 65 minutes of your life. Just close your eyes, listen, and you will travel to the most incredible places. :) :) :)

If anyone has done this and knows what I'm talking about please speak up!!!!
