    Unoriginal and infantile form of protest.

    It's just a flag. No one gets hurt, no one loses a job, no one loses their house, no one dies. I don't have any respect for a country that will lie for money even if it means thousands of people dying. I'll burn a flag, keep my hands in my pockets and hat on my head during the national anthem, or whatever I want to do to protest this sick and horrible government.

    My position on flag burning?
    Well I guess it would be a position that keeps the smoke and fire from blowing into my face.
    This guy here is doing it wrong;

    Ok, I can understand that, but you do realize that criteria applies to just about every country/government on the planet since the beginning of civilization.

    Personally it seems disdainful. An act of dubious anarchy. Yet, however distasteful, are fore father's would defend this act to their death. For a republic based on principles such highly re- guarded as first among rights, surely. Must be protected. Or we shall surely loose them. The act in essence, breaths life into the very act we destroyed. As a phenoix rises from the ashes, so shall the freedom.

    Bring it on. The fact that you still believe this is your country is a perfect example of why it isn't. People are just stubbornly ignorant.

    You must be in total denial of the true reality of whats going on in this country! (People that do this are just venting anger and sadness of seeing thier countrry being destroyed)

    THIS COUNTRY THINKS THEY OWN THE WORLD,THEY TRY TO FORCE THIER VIEWS ON EVERY OTHER COUNTRY,THEY TREAT PEOPLE LIKE GARBAGE AND HAVE KILLED MORE INNOCENT PPL THAN ANYONE ELSE THRU THE USE OF DRONES OR OTHER MATTER....

    Quite sad and disgusting whats going on to be honest!

    that's assault. Your country will put you away for that.

    It's a piece of fabric, not the concept. It's expression, freedom of speech.

    It is not by definition anti american of course. And that other people can feel intensively attacked by you burning your american flag makes it only a better form of protest since protesting is ment to draw attention to your cause. However it can only be done so many times before everyone gets over it I guess.

    The most beautiful thing about the American Flag is that it represents our right to burn it.

    When people get really upset over flag burning, it kinda just makes me want to do it more.

    What do flags actually represent? National Might, International Corporate Capitalism, sentimental pride/supposed identity? Burn all the bloody flags ! Then sit down with your Community & design your own .

    i have yet to make/have made, a physical flag of my imaginary nation. so i guess it would be kind of hard to burn.
