My take is: production, inovation, production, inovation

Everyone is always debating on which path to take when it comes to energy, why not all? Nuclear, solar, wind, more drilling, geothermal, clean coal ect.

Dont we import 70% of our oil? too much.

I say we increase our domestic production of energy, decrease our foreign importation of energy, encourage conservation, and promote and explore inovative ideas.

sounds easier than it is of course.

shane - one word for that viewpoint.

    Bravo.

We, as a country, have gotten lazy, and the only way to fix it is to fix it ourselves and quit relying on other countries to 'play fair' with us.

Think about it if you can control areas where a resource has been found, and not drill, you can thereby limit the amount of supply thus manipulating the market forcing the price upward because you can limit supply. Simple concept really if you think about it. So we should give them more access over our national resources? I think not.
