I have been seeing a lot of single individuals holding their own personal protest with a sign walking down a busy street..a couple of the signs that I saw said that Obama was a woman and baby killer..I agree, all of the worlds leaders play a part in the murders that are commited on the earth everyday..man does not have it him to direct his own steps.

Me too. It's a little wierd how this place I'm visiting seems to be lousey with them.

I've been finding the more vocal people are about things, the less they tend to actually know about the subject.

Passion usually throws all logic out the window, especially with protests.

Hell, I could easily make the argument that protests usually make things worse.

Think it was about 2 weeks ago, massive protest in Melbourne, Indian students protesting against racism. They call them curry bashing. Trams were blocked, i had to catch a taxi from the city home.

i was part of one that involved around 100,000-150,000 people.

back when i believed in people's ability to change things. i was young.

we were in DC protesting the war in iraq before it happened. it was apparently the biggest protest in DC since the END of the vietnam warg

bush conveniently arranged an impromptu vacation to mexico for the event, so he wouldn't see the people in the street.

while i stand by the position i took, i wouldn't attend such a thing today
