No, it is a dissociative who's effects can only be felt above a certain dosage. Just like codeine is an opiate, even though if you only took 10mg you wouldn't get high at all.

First off, snorting isn't done for the placebo effect, it's done because snorting causes faster onset and shorter duration. It's done for a reason. Method of ingestion matters. Insufflating a drug causes a much different experience than ingesting it orally. I'm quite surprised you didn't know this.

This is why cocaine is snorted, not swallowed. This is why ketamine is snorted at raves and such, not swallowed. This is why no one puts heroin in their water and drinks it; it is either injected, smoked, or snorted.

Sorry man but you have some utterly backwards views on drugs in general.

 

i started with the 300mg's gel pills, robittusin. Yea i didnt want to speak too soon about the effects lol. I experienced different ones than the first time. I really want to do it again. But considering the last time i did was last week, im thinking of letting atleast two or three more weeks pass.

this will all depend on ur dose. im not sure how much u took but if u ever try to reach for a high 3rd plateau you'll know what some people mean. even i have had blissful experience on 354mg, but if u ever reach for a 708mg trip let me know what u think then. fear not the thoughts of "i took to much, im going to die" you need to just let go and go with the flow. dont ever try and fight it or you'll end up freakin out. i had hot and cold flashes, i was literally shaking of cold then when i went under the blanket i felt burning hot. but after i let go and just floated away into space the trip was the best ive ever had.

 

Yes thats why i wrote ^^ afterwards that i shouldnt speak to soon. 300gm i hear isnt all that much. I do plan to go higher and im aware the effects will change.

OH, yea the first time i got a bit scared and started fighting it and it was defidently the WRONG thing to do. But thankfully i learn from mistakes and so the second time around i just went with the flow and it was the greatest.

Ok, I might have ranted but I was buzzing a little so I start making long posts. But I dont try to claim my views are better than anyone's else. I have trouble wording certain things so sorry if I came off that way.

The thing about snorting I meant for stuff like benzos or opiates that contain apap (since there is more apap than drug, it would just be better to just take the stuff orally than torture your nose with apap). trust me, I didnt mean snorting was a placebo. Its just for certain types of pills the high from snorting would be the exact same as eating it since certain pills are not water-solluble or have too much apap. ive done my share of oxys and know that snorting gives me a much better high than eating them. lol.

I still stand by what LSD is in my eyes. I still love it and have had a good time on it. What I am saying is, is that LSD was designed to be a psychedelic by Albert Hoffman. I don't know if he litterally coined the term psychedelic but I know he never had any medicinal purposes for it. That still may not be a great explanation but perhaps its better than my original one.

I dont know. Im not trying to start an argument or anything like that. Thats just how I view things. My opinion on a drug doesn't change my high or whether or not I enjoy a drug. I enjoy or dislike a drug based on my reaction to it. I just have certain beliefs on how certain drugs should be classified. I see no harm in that.

Your choice, but if you're doing that for health reasons its a little extreme. One week is more than enough time between doses, as long as your total number of lifetime doses is not large (ie, dont make it a continual habit!).

Intense burning pain in my organs is what I get when I take it, whether liquid or gelcap. Also severe, severe itchiness (i never used to get it) even at the most anaesthetic doses, and strong hot flashes. Very unpleasant when you're getting all that on top of diarrhea and nausea. Not worth it at all for me anymore

 

I know a kid who took that shit almost non-stop for about two years. Needless to say he isn't the same. He took sixty corcidin cough and cold pills in one night, stay away from that shit.

 

1800 mgs of DXM? Thats pretty intense. But then again I've done 2000 mgs so I shouldn't be talking.

 

60 Coricidin cough and cold? Suprised he isn't dead from all that chlorpheniramine maleate. Jesus.

1200mg of DXM was more than plenty for me... I can't see how anyone can really push the dosage much higher than a gram very often. Anything greater than a gram, and I suffer from a horrible dxm hangeover... but I suppose everyone's ability to metabolize dxm is different.

 

Highest I ever went was ~900 mg, and that was way too high. Hungover for 2 days, could taste dxm for 3 days and my SWEAT smelled like it , and since then I can't take dxm.

For the better imo

 

I can still the smell the DXM in my room from the night I did 2000 mgs. I've never gotten really bad hangovers from DXM. I usually get a very pleasant afterglow.
