When your out drinking with friends...

good times, funny moments, but theres not much time for talking at our bar, we sing, ive posed for my picture to be drawn, ive had readings from runes etc, dancing, and just being silly and we all ALWAYS dress up. god, now i wanna go out!

last time i remember hanging with anybody they were no more interested in boozing then i was. the last time i was in a place that served any sort of alcohaul i was with PorSFiS on one of their 'afters' crawls. where we'd go somewhere after the meeting. this was in portland oregon where all the brewpubs had to serve food of some kind also.

so anyway, yah, we mostly talked about mundane things sort of, politics i think mostly, and roll the dice type roll playing games. oh and computers too. this was in the days before the internet when not everybody had them. and they all came with a programing language in rom, and not much else. not even disc drives to begin with.

but there were local bbs's and a lot of us were modemers as well as sciffy types.

i've always found humans themselves rather boring, unless they were interested in something i was, and generally in doing something more or less creative in the context of it.

if i go out with my girl friends we mostly talk about other people we know. bitchfest. and we tell stories of shit that's happened to us. if im with school friends we sometimes reminisce on the good ole days and funny shit that happened years ago.

if im drinking with my boy and his friends well i mostly just dance and listen to them talk about girls and sometimes they ask me for advice. they treat me like one of the boys so its pretty fun.

 

With friends that are girls, we talk about men, sex, and music.

If its just my hubby and I, we talk about books, religion/philosophy, and politics.

Drinking with my brothers, I usually have to show off how much I can drink, and we tell embarrassing stories from childhood.
