Went with my girlfriend and her mom to pick up some Chinese take-out and ended up going to Kroger (a supermarket) while I waited to pick up some drinks and stuff. All the while barefoot. This was my first time going into a store barefoot so I was really nervous that someone would say something, but no one seemed to notice. My feet are so dirty and I love it.

Picked up some drinks and cigarettes at my usual gas station across the road and now getting ready to get to work on my bare feet (working the late shift this week). As usual on warm days (such as today), my office flip-flops will rest under the desk most of the time, only used when I have to walk around the office... and after work, a barefoot weekend is waiting for me, to be enjoyed fully (in contrast to the Easter weekend, when I was lying down with a vicious sinus cold, complete with fever and skull-splitting headaches, while the sun was shining outdoors... what a torture for a barefooter).

    Wiggling bare toes,

Sunday will be the end of my second week of permanent barefooting. I also went to a few stores today and my feet are really black too. And I agree, I also love that. Enjoy your further monitoring of store surfaces for level of cleanliness!

Hiking and bouldering in North Alabama Tennessee Valley, and couldn't resist a fifty foot hill of fresh dirt at a construction site. Red dust is great!!!

Saturday I went to a Jazz Festival in the city square. Expected to see a lot of barefoot people but I was the only one over 10. Oh well, I enjoyed it.

To several local bars. Lots of comments and interesting reactions but no hassles! Only barefoot one there tho.

Well, a bunch of places. Sunday will be the end of my first 3 weeks without shoes. But I did notice that CVS (who don't enforce their NS sign) has a really dirty floor. Thanks CVS for the really black feet.

Recently I have barefooted my usual ways before and after work, went barefoot for grocery shopping, had a little barefoot trip last Saturday to our gaming group meeting (that's where I saw one other barefooter - a teenage girl with her family walking from the Duisburg zoo to the poarking lot in her bare feet, carrying her sneakers in her hand)... nothing extraordinary.

I'm happy to report that my head cold has ceased to a mild sniffle, even though there are still many people at work sniffling, coughing and sneezing violently, keeping the vicious virus circle alive. Nevertheless, I will spend a fully barefoot day today, including a five-hour office day without shoes (no bosses there on Saturday) and the usual weekend shoppng trip, too.

Temperatures are going to be mild and there might be rain later on, too. I'm looking forward to that, since our region hadn't had rain in more than a month. My bare feet are yearning for puddles, cool and wet grass and soil turning to mud.

    Wiggling bare toes,

Just returned from a short barefoot trip to the ATM and the supermarket, doing a little necessary shopping, since my fridge was empty...
Working a late shift this week, I will be embarking on my usual barefoot trip to work in about an hour and a half.
