Used to shop exclusively at OUT OF THE CLOSET. Sadly, many of the stores have closed. I'm not real happy with the way jeans are manufactured these days. They use a stretch fabric and I find most of the ones on the shelf have skinny leg cuts. Sometimes it's loose in the back and tight in the front. Not even sure how that's possible.
And anyway, new store prices are insanely high; especially for products that aren't even made in the USA.

I buy most of my clothes online or in second-hand stores, some I sew myself or have altered

I’m kind of all over the place when it comes to clothes. Thrift stores for basics, a couple of go-to brands for staples, and the occasional online impulse buy. Fit matters more than labels to me. I’ve learned the hard way that flashy doesn’t always mean comfortable. Once I had to track sizing info like I was searching for the Guess phone number just to confirm measurements. These days I keep it simple and practical.

I just ordered some cheap wool socks on Amazon to keep my feetsies warm. It's cheaper than heating the house.
